I have talked to many different types of hunters ranging from veteran whitetail stalkers to Canadian honker addicts and all of them seem to have a few items that they never leave the field without. Now of course no one is going to forget the essentials like your gun, licence, boots ect... but I have heard of a few unconventional bits of gear that are NEVER left behind.
Some that I have heard are a lucky goose call, your favorite shooting stick, or something a little different... like a 12in bowie knife. Whether it is vital to the hunt or just a superstitious habit just about every hunter has a few of these "necessary items". I am curious to know what is your never-leave-home-without gear?
